Character development for KT’s webtoon platform, KTOON. It was inspired by the various speech bubble shapes commonly used in comics. Building on KTOON’s existing bold logotype design and the previously inconsistent character lines, the project balanced line thickness and form, and solidified the speech bubble into characters. We developed three characters in total, each based on frequently used variations of speech bubble forms.
KT 웹툰 플랫폼 캐릭터 개발. 만화에 쓰이는 다양한 형태의 말풍선에서 착안하여 캐릭터를 디자인했다. 기존 케이툰에서 사용하는 볼드 한 로고타입 디자인과 불규칙적으로 쓰이던 캐릭터 라인을 디벨롭하여 굵기와 형태 등의 디자인 밸런스를 잡고 말풍선 모양의 캐릭터를 구체화했다. 자주 쓰이는 말풍선 형태를 베리에이션 하여 총 3종의 캐릭터를 개발했다.
